Andrew Distribution, new website

Ten things I need from you

Most are one word. It should take about five minutes.

0 of 10

I have everything I need to start the new site except the things below. Every one of them is a fact only your team has. Nothing here is a design decision and none of it needs research.

Anything you cannot answer, hit Skip. That is a useful answer and I will work around it.

Your answers save on this device as you type, so you can stop and come back. If somebody else knows the warehouse answers, send them this same link and they can fill in the parts you left blank.

The buildings and the fleet
1

Which of your locations do what?

Tick everything each one does. Most of them will be more than one. Your site says "Midwest," but you run in eight states, Rhode Island to Texas.

2

How big is the warehouse at Melrose Park?

Your competitors publish this. One of them leads with 1.3 million square feet. If we do not give a number, buyers assume the number is small.

3

Any certifications?

Warehouse customers filter on this before they call anybody.

Some of these cover the whole company, some only apply to one building. If any of them are true of one location and not the others, say which in the box at the bottom.

The phones and the hours
4

What phone numbers go on the site, and who gets the quote requests?

The quote form is the thing you asked for. I need to know who is answering it before I print a response time next to it.

5

What are your actual hours, including weekends?

You run seven days. As far as I can tell not one competitor in Chicago advertises Sunday service, so I want to say it.

Melrose Park, since that is the one that goes on the site and on your Google listing. If another location keeps very different hours, put it in the box at the bottom and I will list that one separately.

Customers and drivers
6

Which customer names can I use?

Google cannot read the newspaper names on your site today. They are stuck inside a twelve year old image, and your freight customers do not appear at all. They are the strongest thing you have.

7

What do you pay drivers, and can I publish it?

The companies winning driver applications in Chicago publish exact pay.

8

The job application: what should it ask?

The form on your site now has 24 questions and takes resume uploads. You mentioned name, address, phone and comments.

Two housekeeping items
9

Who manages your Google listing?

The panel on the right when somebody Googles you. There are a few free fixes worth making, but I need to know who has the login.

10

Can I come out and photograph the trucks and the warehouse?

This is the half day of photography included in the full build, the one listed in my email. Trucks, the dock, the warehouse floor, and an early loading run if that is possible. Whenever suits you.

That is everything

Partial answers are fine. I will start with whatever I get.

Goes straight to Greg Mulvey. Nothing is shared anywhere else.

Got it, thank you

Your answers are on their way to Greg. Anything you skipped, he will work around or ask you about later.
